A Vision for Ethical Digital Collaboration
Welcome to Able Partners, a cross-continental initiative rooted in shared human values and a long-term vision for digital co-creation. Formed between Team AbLe of Bahir Dar, Ethiopia and RED DOT Company, Inc. of Ontario, Canada, Able Partners represents more than a business partnership.
It is a living embodiment of what we believe the digital economy should be: sustainable, transparent, and built on mutual respect. The inconsistency of the gig economy, when compared with humanity’s instinct for sustainability, was clear to both founding partners. The transactional nature of one-off projects and freelance gig-by-gig contracts rarely fosters real personal growth or lasting value for the essential workers of the web ecosystem. We recognized that a better model was needed—one in which humans come together to co-create, share responsibility, share the financial benefits, address the needs of all citizens who wish to enjoy the benefits of a digitally connected global community, and build digital assets that stand the test of time.
Able is one partnership born of the mission of REDDOT - to change the exploitative, throw-away characteristic of the gig-economy for IT workers. The Able Partnership aims to replace the unsustainable nature of the gig-economy with shared ownership, the realization of collaborative ambition, and economic justice for those who build the Internet. Rather than simply purchasing services, we collaborate as partners serving both individual and communal interest. Our engagement is transparent from the outset, and we strive to create products and experiences we both love and are proud to offer to the world.
Our projects pursue three core objectives:
- Immediate revenue generation based on proven economic viability.
- Equitable income sharing with contributors, especially those dependent on the gig economy.
- Creation of innovative, sustainable digital assets with enduring positive impact beyond the partners themselves.
